I was recently approached by Packt Publishing about reviewing a new book called “Getting Started with Microsoft Lync Server 2013 written by Fabrizio Volpe” Before agreeing to write this review for Packt Publishing, I approached Fabrizo by Twitter to make sure he was happy for me to write a review.
So the title, Getting Started with Microsoft Lync Server 2013?
The title explains exactly what the book is about and is based on a Microsoft Lync Enterprise Pool deployment with SQL Witness and Office Web Apps. . Matt Landis written a ebook called “Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Step by Step for Anyone” and I have read through both Matt’s and Fabrizio’s books and Fabrizo book is well written covering all the basics with in depth information and I believe it is a good follow on to Matt Landis ebook with more details. When reading through the book it helped me address an issue I was dealing with at a customer site, so would say its very much worth a read if your new to Lync or currently studying Lync in more depth.
