Hello Readers,
Here is a very strange error I come across the other day when trying to Deploy Monitoring Reports within a Lync 2013 Environment with a single Standard FE Server and a single SQL 2012 Server.
Cannot Grant ReportsReadOnlyRole to user "domain\username" For Details, see the following error message: Exception calling "Create" with "0" argument(s): "Create failed for Login 'domain\username'
After a bit of research I could only find post relating to a clustered SQL Environment. So I then started to look at the SQL Server and permissions the user account had to the database files.

I could see the permission ReportsReadOnlyRole was ticked on both databases. After unticking the role then reticked.
I started the Deployment of the Monitoring Role again and the installation completed successfully. Not sure how unticking this permission resolved my issue but thought Id share with my readers.
